New Epson Home Printers Are Now Wi-Fi And Apple AirPrint Compatible

All the new Epson printers that are launched in the last 3-4 years are equipped with Wi-Fi and Apple AirPrint compatibility to print wirelessly from computers, tablets, smartphones and even from Facebook.

The ability to print documents and images using Wi-Fi and AirPrint technology has been added to all the new Epson printers of the Expression Home and Expression Premium series. These are inkjet devices, all equipped with integrated Wi-Fi and compatibility with Apple AirPrint technology, to print wirelessly from any computer, tablets, smartphones and even directly from Facebook.

The entry-level compact and mid-range MFPs of the Expression Home range (XP-225, XP-320, and XP-420 series) take up little space and simplify printing, scanning, and copying. All models are equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and allow printing from mobile, as well as integrating a scanner with a resolution of 1200 dpi. The XP-320 and XP-420 series models have Wi-Fi Direct and are compatible with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. The XP-420 series also offers a 6.4 cm color LCD with touch-pad.

These devices use Epson Claria Home 4-color ink cartridges: the manufacturer guarantees clear text prints for lab-quality documents and photos. Thanks to Epson's separate ink cartridges, which allow you to replace only the most used color, you can save up to 30% on printing costs.

Clear text and quality photos are also possible with the Expression Premium compact multi-function phones (XP-820, XP-720, XP-520, and XP-620 series). They offer automatic Wi-Fi setup, even with Wi-Fi Direct, two-sided printing and all integrate an LCD display that makes these models even easier to use. The XP-820 and XP-720 models are equipped with a 10.9 cm LCD touch-screen display with motorized control panel, two paper trays, paper exit tray with automatic opening/closing and power supply for special media. The XP-820 also offers fax functions and has an automatic document feeder, while XP-720 automatically turns on when a print job is sent.

Epson's suite of apps for mobile printing, comprised of Epson iPrint and Epson Creative Print, allows users to print from smartphones, tablets, and laptops, as well as print photos directly from Facebook. All models in the range are compatible as standard with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. The Expression Premium range uses Epson Claria Premium 5-color ink cartridges: the manufacturer ensures crisp, long-lasting documents, glossy and detailed photographs with deep blacks and bright colors.

With in-built Wi-Fi and AirPrint technology, users can expect to get printed documents much quickly and easily. If you are using one of Epson’s printer and not being able to print your documents and images, then you can consult Apple iPrint support providers for the best assistance regarding the issue.

Apple iOS: How To Use AirPrint On iPhone And iPad Working On iOS 12

Printing any kind of text document, spreadsheet, presentation or photo is simpler than what you can think with the latest operating system iOS 8. At the software level, there are not too many obstacles, but you need to make sure that you have a printer that is compatible with AirPrint technology; otherwise, there could be some problem.

Printing directly from the iPhone or iPad is really a walk, much simpler than you might think. Let's see together in this guide how to use AirPrint integrated directly in iOS from iOS 12.

Making a print directly from your smartphone or Apple tablet is not very complicated, provided you have the right printer. The more modern ones easily support AirPrint technology, but there is also a way to use those printers with a few years on their shoulders.

One advantage of using AirPrint is that it allows you to print high-quality documents and photos from Mac, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch without having to install additional software (drivers). AirPrint includes features such as simple detection, automatic media selection, and enterprise-grade finishing options.

First of all, if you are about to buy a printer, or we have just bought one and we are curious to know whether or not it is compatible with AirPrint, you just open the dedicated page of the official Apple website (https://support.apple.com/HT201311).

This list is updated every month, and so, you can find many models of the most famous brands, such as HP, Epson, Canon, Lexmark, Lanier, Kyocera and many others. If the printer in our possession is on that list, then there is no problem: just connect to the same Wi-Fi network of the iPhone or iPad, and we can print documents and photographs directly from the Apple device.

Moreover, if the printer does not have AirPrint native support, we can use the HandyPrint or Ecamm Printopia software to emulate the technology through the Mac computer. Both programs are easy to use, and a short configuration is enough to convert a traditional printer in one compatible with AirPrint. Moreover, these software programs add interesting features, such as automatic upload to DropBox and saving to PDF.

To proceed with printing in iOS, simply tap the file-sharing button and choose the "Printer" field. If there are no problems, the printer will appear in the list of the Wi-Fi network, so just confirm by pressing "Print" and you're done. In addition, if you are curious, there is a print order to the left of the Multitasking Bar.

Like AirPrint printers, there are USB devices that allow you to print or scan without having to install additional drivers. Since they require a USB connection, they support printing or scanning without drivers only from Mac computers.

Until February 2019, AirPrint offers support for Canon TS208, Canon TS207, Canon TS205, Canon TS204, Canon TS203, Canon TS202, Canon LiDE 400, Canon LiDE 300, Canon E204 and Canon E201.

If you are using any of these models, but not being able to connect the printer with AirPrint, then you can get in touch with iPad Printer setup and support facility.
